This build was inspired by Everglot Hall, one of the sets featured in a stop-motion film (Corpse Bride) created by Laika Studios. Working from screenshots and whichever images I could find, I created this reconstruction of the main hall, entrance, side hallway, and staircase. Others are based on real-world reference and logical assumptions. All details are modeled, not surface maps. I will add textures to complete the reconstruction, once several other elements have been modeled to finish the build. Some of the proportions are a little off, but it is difficult to unravel the influence of lens distortion inherent in much of my reference. While the furnishings are similar to those depicted in the film, mine are only partially based on them, containing some characteristics of the props in the film. Although, I did opt to make a smaller piano and more detailed piano. The total poly-count is 254953 faces, including bevels.
